what is the difference in sound between series paralel switching and phase switching.
i am thinking of changing series parlel switched guitar to phase switched guitar. |

You should be able to wire a switch up to do both, in other words you can have your regular sound you have now and with switched phase. I'm not sure though if you're talking coil tapping on humbuckers or wiring 2 pickups in opposite polarity. If you intend to do it yourself, you'll need to do some research maybe the "free info" section on www.stewmac will help. If you are going to take it somewhere you should be able to get it wired to give you either effect. |
