Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the March 21 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

This week, we got inside the world of rising area heavy rockers Frayed. We met the band members, learned about their music and mission, and featured tracks from their just-completed independently-produced EP, entitled “C-Section.” Several lucky listeners won copies of the CD, plus free admission to Frayed's appearance this coming Saturday night at Aldo's in Altoona. Frayed also brought instruments along, and performed one song live in the studio.

Along the way, we debuted new songs from Infused, No Dice, The Fallout and Vertigo.

This week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

WINE OF NAILS - “Frenzy!”
INFUSED - “Within”
FRAYED - “For the Last Time”
LOST LEDNY - “Past Confusion”
FRAYED - “From the Mountain”
THE GRIMM - “Raise the Line”
FRAYED - “Float Above It All”
BALISTIC - “One Of Seven”
NO DICE - “Opening Credits/Sarcasm & Smiles”
WISKERBISKET - “6 Finger Flip”

HOUR TWO:

KUNG FLUDE - “Weapon Face”
THE MAD COWS - “Bloody Sleeve”
FRAYED - “Picture of My Disease”
DEVIANCE - “Chapter X”
FRAYED - “When I Start to Crawl” (performed live on air)
THE FALLOUT - “Lights Out”
PIVOT - “Y”
FRAYED - “Down”
VERTIGO - “Vagrant”
FRAYED - “Song No. 2”

This Sunday night, our guests will be Lewistown rockers Wiskerbisket. We will meet the members of this wild and crazy bunch, and hear tracks from their recently-released EP. We'll find out more about the band, their music, live show and more. Wiskerbisket visits the “Backyard Rocker,” this Sunday night!
