Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the September 25 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.

We continued visiting the "Homegrown Rocker" mailboxes this week so check out new recordings that have arrived recently. As a result, we debuted new songs from The Crew Of The Half Moon, Liz de Lise, Crawdad Joe, American Evil, Anatomy of the Sacred and Afraid of Human. We also updated "Local Music News," dug a 2000 number from Fear, Love & Hate from the archive for this week's "Local Music Flashback," stepped "Across State Lines" to hear a new song by Boston's Spiritual Rez, and reviewed Empire In Decline's The Rhythm of Regret CD in "The Professor's CD Corner."

Here is this week's playlist:

We'll keep the new local and regional music coming your way next week, as we share more new arrivals from the program's mailboxes for your listening pleasure! Along the way, we will update "Local Music News," dig out a "Local Music Flashback" from the archive, step "Across State Lines" to hear a song from an independent band or artist from outside the state, and review Chris Vipond & the Stanley Street Band's Trinkets and Time Travelers CD in "The Professor's CD Corner!"
