Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the December 23 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.

This week, we presented the 2018 installment of our annual Christmas Special! We featured two hours of holiday music from local and regional bands and artists! We heard area musicians' interpretations of time-tested holiday classics, as well as their original Christmas-themed songs creations! Along the way, we introduced new seasonal songs from Star 69, Barleyjuice, Joey Welz, Mudzo McCourt & Alicia Starr, Walt & Jackie and Cindy G. We also stepped "Across State Lines" to check out a Christmas-themed number from Cleveland-based hard rockers Oblivea!
