Hello Everyone,
Here is the recap of the October 18 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!
With Halloween season upon us, we presented the first of two Halloween-themed programs this week as we welcomed our guests via phone, Craig Bonner and Joe Trojcak. Craig recently issued his first album, a Halloween-themed story album called Halloween Ball, Part One. We discussed the album with Craig and learned its inspiration and story, and also heard thoughts and insight from Joe, who contributed keyboards, sound effects and backing vocals, plus recorded and produced the album at his Progressive Enterprises Recording Studio in Elizabethtown. Along the way, we updated "Local Music News," dug out a 1985 number from Altoona's Rolling Rockers for this week's "Local Music Flashback," and reviewed Joey Dalto's All For You album in "The Professor's CD Corner!"

In Local Music News...
Another Pittsburgh area live music venue has shut its doors. Hambone’s in Lawrenceville has closed permanently following the recent passing of its owner, Jeff Holt, last month, and COVID-19-related debt issues with a bank. Holt had operated the entertainment venue since 2011, and the venue had been in business for 35 years.
Warren-based heavy rockers Afraid of Human reported that drummer John Grimm abruptly resigned from the band in recent days, and the group is currently seeking a replacement.
Tim Woods has set a release date for his new album. He will officially issue the new album, called Vortex, on Friday, October 23.
