Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the April 25 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!

It was back to the mailboxes this week to check on new local and regional recordings we have received in recent weeks! As always, that meant that we debuted lots of new local music! We checked out new songs from Shane Nycum, Alpha Violet, Andy Mowatt's Frequency Movement (AMFM), Slam Band and Sam, Bill Dann & Jay Zimmerman, Blood Union, Images Of Eden, Royal Honey and Almost Honest! We also updated "Local Music News," pulled a 1995 tune by northeastern PA's Teacher's Pet from the archive for a "Local Music Flashback," and stepped "Across State Lines" to hear a song from Cumberland, Maryland-based hard rockers Anger Box! (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94's website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on "The Professor's Classroom," and then scroll down to "Homegrown Rocker Podcast" and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 042521.)

We'll also update "Local Music News," dig into the archive for a "Local Music Flashback," and review The Filthy Lowdown's El Accidente album in "The Professor's CD Corner!"
