Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the January 16 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

This week, we climbed on board “The Party Plane,” as our first in-studio guests of 2005 were members of Altoona area party rock favorites Flight 19. We discussed the band and its career to date, their live show, creative process and more. We heard tunes from Flight 19’s debut EP, “Pumpkin Fogger,” and lucky listeners called in to win their own copies plus Coors Light T-shirts! We also checked on Local Music News, and debuted new songs from The Marauders and 3 Broken Dolls.

Here is this week’s playlist:

HOUR ONE:

THE MARAUDERS – “Dead Of Night”
BACKSTREET LAW – “Frustrated”
FLIGHT 19 – “3 Of A Kind”
CONDITION K – “On A Sunday”
JOHN BAKER & SHERRY LENDER – “Rita’s Party”
THE FRONT – “Battleground for the Brave” (live at Heritage Plaza, Altoona 7/03)
FLIGHT 19 – “Unlock”
FELIX & THE HURRICANES – “The Love You Share”

HOUR TWO:

FAT VINNY & THE WISEGUYS – “Barroom Floor”
FLIGHT 19 – “Migraine”
NEGATIVE SPACE – “Anthem”
3 BROKEN DOLLS – “Evil Mother”
EMILY’S TOYBOX – “Angels Falling”
FLIGHT 19 – “Hands”
JOSA STEP – “Alone”

This coming Sunday night, we welcome acoustic duo John Baker and Sherry Lender back into the studio! We’ll hear some new songs from the duo as they prepare to release a brand new album; plus John and Sherry will perform some songs live for us as well. It’s always a good time when John Baker and Sherry Lender visit, so tune in this Sunday night on the “Backyard Rocker!”
