Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the February 23 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Thanks to our in-studio guests this week, Bleech, for a fun two hours! We got acquainted with this Philipsburg-based power trio, and heard numerous tracks from their first CD, "Faded Memories." And the phone lines were jammed all evening as listeners called in to win copies of the album.

Along the way, we premiered new music from Wiskerbisket, Soundrive, Skell, and Free Kawfee.

This week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

DAVE BLACKLEDGE – “Your Butt’s Too Fat To Dance Like That”
WISKERBISKET – “Runaround Sue”
BLEECH – “Faded Memories”
FELIX & THE HURRICANES – “Free” (live 3/4/01)
BLEECH – “Across The Tracks”
SOUNDRIVE – “The Way It Ought To Be”
BLEECH – “Since You’ve Been Gone”
ELECTRIC BLUE – “Shades of Blue”
SKELL – “No Solution”
THE GRIMM – “Angry and Shirtless”

HOUR TWO:

ROADKILL – “Fifth on the Fourth of July”
DONNY BURNS – “Bill the Wino”
BLEECH – “All I Need”
FREE KAWFEE – “Angel”
BLEECH – “Spell”
THE MARAUDERS – “Roadkill”
BLEECH – “Hollywood”
SEVENTH HOUR – “Incurable”
BLEECH – “Early Morning”

This Sunday night, Q94's "Backyard Rocker" reaches an important milestone: 5 YEARS ON THE AIR! Join us for a 3-hour special "Backyard Rocker" 5th anniversary gala, starting one hour earlier at 7 PM! Listen as we feature show highlights from the first five years, including live songs performed in our studios from a number of local and regional bands. And as is tradition with the anniversary special, we will be joined in the studio by Felix & the Hurricanes and friends! We will hear new music from the Hurricanes' forthcoming second CD, and the group will bring along several musical friends to jam in the studio live! Get the tape recorders ready, this one should be a keeper! The "Backyard Rocker" celebrates five years on air, this Sunday night beginning at 7!
