Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 13 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Thanks to our guests, Altoona area heavy rockers Flord (www.getflord.com), for providing an interesting and hard-rocking two hours. We heard several tunes from Flord’s recently-released second album, The Next Level, and four lucky listeners called in to win copies. We also heard thoughts from the band members on their new music, their live show, their career goals and more.

We also updated Local Music News, and we reviewed Wide Open’s debut CD, First Ride, in “The Professor’s CD Corner.” (The review can be viewed on Q94’s website, www.wbxq.com.)

Here is this week’s playlist:

HOUR ONE:

FAYTED – “Keep Smilin’”
WISKERBISKET – “Free”
FLORD – “The Next Level”
THE GRIMM – “Flatline Part II”
FLORD – “Questions”
LOST LEDNY – “Past Confusion”
FLORD – “Clearmind”
BACKSTREET LAW – “Stages”

HOUR TWO:

CONDITION K – “On a Sunday”
4 DAYS DIRTY – “Downtime” (recorded live at Aldo’s 1/05)
FLORD – “Sublime”
WIDE OPEN – “Casting Shadows”
FLORD – “Why You Hate Me”
FLORD – “4 Walls”
FLORD – “Outside”

Next Sunday night, we’ll be joined in the studio by Saxton-based rockers Fayted. We’ll learn about this band, and hear tunes from their debut CD, The Aftermath; plus lucky listeners will be able to win copies of the CD. Fayted joins us in the studio, next Sunday night on the “Backyard Rocker!”
