Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the July 4 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

This week, we recapped the 8th annual Millennium Music Conference, which took place the previous weekend at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Harrisburg. We reported the happenings at Millennium, and featured sound clips from several of the panel discussions and seminars. We also featured highlights from keynote speaker Bill McGathy’s address. Also included were comments from some of the musicians who took part in the conference, and even a humorous clip from Robby Roadsteamer’s impromptu appearance/performance on the acoustic stage during the Millennium Trade Show! And of course, we featured more music from some of the many bands and artists who showcased in Harrisburg during Millennium weekend.

This week’s playlist:

HOUR ONE:

ROADKILL – “Fifth on the 4th of July”
PETE PALLADINO – “4th of July”
TEXAS JERRY – “Walk Away”
J.D. STRUM – “It’s All Good”
THE UNDERWATER – “Silver”
CONDITION K – “On a Sunday”
MILKSHAKE JONES – “Miracle Plain”

HOUR TWO:

MEHLT – “Solution”
CRASH DELICATE – “Nothing’s Changed”
JOSA STEP – “Lacerta”
JENNIE ARNAU – “Tallulah Falls”
SCREAMAPILLAR – “Boy”
THE ILLUMINATI – “Final Fight”
LUCID FLY – “Collide”
SPITSHINE – “Pieces”

This Sunday night, our guests in the studio will be Lehigh Valley rockers Spitshine. We’ll find out the latest happenings with this exciting band, and hear tracks from their new CD, “Transaudio.” Spitshine, this Sunday night on the “Backyard Rocker!”
