Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the October 10 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Thanks to our in-studio guests, Herbie, for making the roadtrip in from Harrisburg to be on the program. We met the members of Herbie, and discussed the band and their music, live show, creative processes, fans and more. Herbie brought instruments and played two songs live on the air. And we heard tracks from the group’s “High Impact” CD, plus gave several copies away to lucky listeners as well.

This Sunday night, we don’t have a scheduled band guest per se, but we will be speaking for part of the program with musicians and cast members involved with Allegheny Highlands Regional Theatre’s upcoming production of The Rocky Horror Show, being performed later this month. We’ll also debut new songs from several area bands, plus check local music news, The Professor’s CD Corner and more. The Rocky Horror Show and lots of music, this Sunday night on the “Backyard Rocker!”

Check out “The Underground” as it features different unsigned local and regional bands every week; and watch for “Backyard Rocker” updates on the show each week as well!
