i'm looking to trade for either an eb-3 or a jazz, i have an esp(ltd) b-205fm 5 stringer with 3-band active pups trans black finish with fitted hardshell. love the guitar, but i have another 5 string and want something more old-school

How about a 2002 Dillion SG bass, thru neck, 18 to 1 tuners, solid mahogony, Only 24 of these made in 2002. It will need new strings I think. It plays great and sounds great. 2 tone knobs and 2 volume knobs, and 1 chicken head 3 way switch. I think its a short scale too....
