Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 21 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

This week, our guest via phone was Pittsburgh rock legend Norman Nardini. The 'Last True Man of Pittsburgh Rock'n'Roll' discussed his new CD of updated Norman classics, called “Redemption,” and we heard numerous tunes from the album. We also got inside Norman's career, and found out about his future plans (including a show at Altoona’s Bavarian Hall this Friday, Nov. 26 with the Mannish Boys). We also checked on Local Music News, and reviewed Pork McElhinny’s CD “The Boy In The Man” on The Professor’s CD Corner.” And we debuted new tunes from Sterling Koch and Jerry’s Fault.

Here is this week’s playlist:

HOUR ONE:

ELECTRIC BLUE – “Broadway Shuffle”
NORMAN NARDINI – “Nothin’ to Lose”
PORK McELHINNY – “Slow Me Down”
NORMAN NARDINI – “That Girl”
FELIX & THE HURRICANES – “Icy You”
NORMAN NARDINI – “Gorilla”
STERLING KOCH – “Jam Back at the House”

HOUR TWO:

ISSUES – “Run from the Shadows”
NORMAN NARDINI – “Weekend”
JERRY’S FAULT – “Shady Lady”
NORMAN NARDINI – “Rock’n’Roll City”
FAT VINNY & THE WISEGUYS – “Like A Mule”
NORMAN NARDINI – “Burnin’ Up”
MICHAEL REICH – “Live for Today”
NORMAN NARDINI – “Love Dog”

This Sunday night, we’ll be joined in the studio by members of Williamsport-based heavy rockers White Witch. Reuniting after a 20-year hiatus, White Witch this year released a comeback album, “The Power.” We’ll hear songs from the album, and get better acquainted with the band members, their career to date, live show and more. Plus, we’ll again check on local music news, and review the self-titled debut CD from Sever. White Witch visits us, this Sunday night on the “Backyard Rocker!”
