I used to love it, but if I hear it coming on the radio, I find something else. _________________ Happiness is like peeing your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth. |

I think "Freebird" has been over played on the radio as well as "Stairway To Heaven" and Santana's "Smooth". But when you are in an audience and hearing the band actually playing it live, you have an entirely different appreciation for the song. |

its been overplayed so much that I just can't stand hearing it anymore. When I was a kid, I thought it was awesome. |

"Freebird" was up there with "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" for me. Then, my brother died and our father followed him less than 2 years later. "If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me?" How I felt about it was forever changed. One year, my 3 children and I went to see Skynyrd at the Bloomsburg Fair with my sister and nephew. There my 3 kids and I were with arms around one another, swaying and singing along to it. All the aforementioned, and the times a certain band has put their hearts and souls into their rendition, are some of the best memories EVER which are now attached to it. LOVE
