Is there anyone who can help me out. I can't afford a pro but I need someone who can do micro soldering very well and has the right equipment to do it. I need a Lcd display removed and a new one installed In a Line 6 pod XT live floor pedal. I have already taken it apart and have the circuit board out... I can solder but this is beyond my abilities. There are 20 or so solder joints 1/8 inch apart. No room for error.

The link above is a picture of it...

Is there room to fit a ribbon cable in there?
It looks like the size of an IDE hard drive. It might make it easier of you can attach to a connector first. |

Those pins below the LCD board?
Its not as hard as you think. Put the iron on the pin, heat it up and let the solder flow into the joint. Do them one at a time. _________________ Stand back, I like to rock out. |
