Here is the recap of the October 30 edition of 105.9 Qwik-Rock's weekly local music program, "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via Qwik's website, www.1059qwikrock.com.

On the eve of Halloween, we presented the 2016 edition of the "Homegrown Rocker" Halloween Special! We spotlighted songs, bands and artists with a connection to Halloween in name or theme! As a result, we presented two hours chock full of witches, zombies, ghosts, spiders, wolves and werewolves, devils and other things that go bump in the night! Along the way, we dug a 1984 number by Black Angel from the archive for a Halloween-themed "Local Music Flashback," stepped "Across State Lines" to hear music from former, Misfits singer Michale Graves, and reviewed Small Town Horror Show's The Dead Didn't Die CD in "The Professor's CD Corner."
