Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the September 6 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (94.3 FM) in Altoona and Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via both stations' websites.

For the Labor Day holiday weekend, we presented a special we haven't done in a few years, the "Local Music Live in Concert" special! For the show's two hours, we showcased live performance tracks from local and regional bands and performers! We debuted some never-aired before live performance tracks from Pure Cane Sugar, Nate Myers & the Aces, the High Street Drifters, Mysterytrain, the Jakobs Ferry Stragglers, The Roof, Chris Woodward & Shindiggin,' Marshmellow Overcoat and Felix & the Hurricanes! We also updated "Local Music News," and dug a 2012 live performance track from legendary Altoona-based rockers The Front from the archive for a "Local Music Flashback!"

Here is this week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

THE CLARKS - "Better Off Without You" (live)
DAVID UOSIKKINEN'S IN THE POCKET - "And We Danced" (performed live 12/18/18 at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA)

We will also update "Local Music News," dig a "Local Music Flashback" from the archive, step "Across State Lines" to hear a song from an independent band or artist from outside of PA, and review an album (or maybe two) in "The Professor's CD Corner!" Hear the "Homegrown Rocker" this Sunday night (September 13) on Q94 Classic Rock (94.3 on your FM dial, or online at www.q94classicrock.com) and 105.9 Qwik Rock (105.9 on your FM dial, or online at www.1059qwikrock.com)!
