Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the October 4 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (94.3 FM) in Altoona and Lion Country's Rock Station, 105.9 Qwik-Rock. The show can also be streamed via both stations' websites.

We returned to the mailboxes to check out new area recordings that have arrived in recent days, and debuted lots of new music! We introduced new tunes from Faded Flowers, Lizdelise, Kevo Can't Dance, Curtis and the Shakerz, Bill Dann & Jay Zimmerman, Brendan Callahan, Nag Champions, Shawn Diveglia, Tukker, Anthrophobia, Jug and X's For Eyes! We also dug a 1997 tune from Tukker from the archive for this week's "Local Music Flashback," stepped "Across State Lines" to hear a new song from Baltimore's Silvertung, and reviewed We Came From Space's While You Were Away CD in "The Professor's CD Corner!"

Here is this week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

NATE GATES - "Everybody Sees the Brick Wall Comin' But Nobody's Stoppin' the Train"
RIK GOLDEN - "Something Else in Mind"
