Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 29 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!

We did something a little different for Thanksgiving weekend, introducing the first-ever "Vinyl Vault Special!" We explored vinyl recordings - both past and present - that have emerged from the local and regional music scene over the years. We polished up and heard songs from a number of 45 rpm vinyl single records and 33 1/3-rpm vinyl albums from past bands and artists of the area music scene; but also heard several current area bands and artists who have released vinyl recordings - debuting new songs from the Jeremy Edge Project, Wynton Existing and X's For Eyes! Needless to say, we heard a number of "Local Music Flashbacks" from past area bands and artists, and we reviewed Thunder Vest's latest vinyl album, Next Round, in "The Professor's CD Corner!"

Here is this week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

HYBRID ICE - "Magdelene" (1982)
THE STABILIZERS - "Midnight Dreamer" (1982)
THE JEREMY EDGE PROJECT (w/Brandon Yeagley) - "Sing My Blues"

WYNTON EXISTING - "Mother of Thunder"
THE SHARKS - "Backs Against the Wall" 1985)
THE MARAUDERS - "What's Your Game" (2007)
THE FRONT - "Girl Like You" (1983)
FRICTION - "Dancing Now" (1984)
CAESER PINK & THE IMPERIAL ORGY - "Brave New Hymn"
BILLY PRICE & THE KEYSTONE RHYTHM BAND - "I'm Gonna Win the War" (1988)
NORMAN NARDINI & THE TIGERS - "Love Dog" (live) (1981)

HOUR TWO:

THE CREW OF THE HALF MOON - "Stark Lost Lovers"
MEDUSA'S DISCO - "Book Upon My Shelf"
X's FOR EYES - "A Moment Away"
THUNDER VEST - "Sweep the Leg"
BLACK DIAMOND - "Back Street Lover" (1977)
CUT THE MUSTARD - "Cut The Mustard" (1980)
BASHFUL - "White Line Fever" (1985)

HEART OF DARKNESS - "Busted" (1990)

Band guests return on our next program, as we welcome into the house members of Bedford/Blair rockers Bad Luck Lover Boys! We'll meet the guys and learn their story, plus hear tunes off their forthcoming new full-length CD! Along the way, we will update "Local Music News," dig a "Local Music Flashback" from the archive, and review Steve Treado's Off the Grid album in "The Professor's CD Corner!" Hear the "Homegrown Rocker' this Sunday night (December 6) on Q94 Classic Rock - 94.3 FM and online at www.q94classicrock.com!
