Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the August 1 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!

This week, we returned to the mailboxes to explore new local and regional recordings that have arrived in recent days! We debuted lots of new music, including tunes from Mysterytrain, Ted McCloskey, The Jaded Lips, The Arts, Bob Randall, Devin Sherman, Horehound, Small Town Titans, Suicide Puppets and Befell! In addition, we dug out a 2005 cover song from former Altoona radio personality Dan Grabill and his Florida-based band Diamond Gray for a "Local Music Flashback," stepped "Across State Lines" to hear a song from Baltimore-based power trio Indianhead, and reviewed Almost Honest's Seiches and Sirens album in "The Professor's CD Corner!" (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94's website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on "The Professor's Classroom," and then scroll down to "Homegrown Rocker Podcast" and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 080121.)
