Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the August 8 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!

We continued our exploration of new local and regional recordings on this week's program! We again debuted lots of new music, including tunes from Blood Union, A.D. 2020, Wax Mekanix, Zach Wade & the Good Grief, Images Of Eden, Casey Walton and We Came From Space! We also featured a conversation with Will Jones of P&J Productions to get the scoop on Will's new play, "John Lennon 1980," which hits the stage of Altoona's Mishler Theatre August 12-14! In addition, we dug out a 2002 song from early in the career of former area favorites The Marauders for this week's "Local Music Flashback," stepped "Across State Lines" to hear a new song from northern New Jersey's Amanda Rose Riley, and reviewed Small Town Titans' The Ride album in "The Professor's CD Corner!" (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94's website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on "The Professor's Classroom," and then scroll down to "Homegrown Rocker Podcast" and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 080821.)
