Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 28 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!

We offered up our own unique take on a Thanksgiving dinner to finish out the holiday weekend, presenting the first "Local Music Thanksgiving Dinner Special!" We spotlighted songs and bands with connections to food and drink for the entire program! Our musical smorgasbord included sandwiches, biscuits, nachos, porkrinds, pancakes, waffles, sausages, Oreo cookies, bananas, a variety of beverages, and even an after-dinner mint! On a more serious note, we dug a 1997 food-connected number from Aslan from the archive for our "Local Music Flashback" as we remembered that group's singer, Andrea (Aslan) Burchette, who passed away on November 19 after a brief illness. (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94's website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on "The Professor's Classroom," and then scroll down to "Homegrown Rocker Podcast" and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 112821.)
