Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the April 10 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock!

We again welcomed musical guests on this week's program, as four members of Indiana/Punxsutawney area country group 7 Mile Run (http://7milerun.com) - Brian Miller, Ange Giavedoni, Barry Little and Johnny Bodnar - joined us in the studio! We discussed 7 Mile Run's career, music and live show, and we aired several of their recorded songs! In addition, we debuted new music from Keith Randall, updated "Local Music News," dug a 2002 live performance number from Altoona's Backdraft from the archive for a "Local Music Flashback," and reviewed Gabe Stillman's Just Say the Word album in "The Professor's CD Corner!" (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94's website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on "The Professor's Classroom," and then scroll down to "Homegrown Rocker Podcast" and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 041022.)

Here is this week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

BUCKSKIN WHISKEY - "Roll On"
LONE CROW REBELLION - "Roll"
7 MILE RUN - "Night to Remember"
ARTESE & TOAD - "Ghost on the Track"
7 MILE RUN - "A Cowboy and an Angel"
BREE GEARHART - "Erase the Tragedy"
7 MILE RUN - "We Are Country"
THE JADED LIPS - "Miss Sunflower"

HOUR TWO:

ANTONIO ANDRADE - "Something Happened"
NORMAN NARDINI - "Ole Number 21"
7 MILE RUN - "What You Do to Me Girl"
GABE STILLMAN - "No Peace for a Soldier"
KEITH RANDALL - "Lovers in the Rain"
BACKDRAFT - "Gotta Go" (live at Valley View Amphitheater, Altoona, 2002, Local Music Flashback)
7 MILE RUN - "Till Sunday Rolls Around"

On our next program, we again get caught up with the mail, as we explore the mailboxes for new recordings from the area music scene! We'll have a lot of new music to debut - expect to hear new songs from Nail Bite, Alexia Christian, 9 Sundays, Cass & the Bailout Crew, Glasswing, Steve Treado and more! We'll also update "Local Music News," step "Across State Lines" to hear a song by an independent band or artist from outside PA, and kill two birds with one stone - as we review a recently-released live album from Pittsburgh 1970s rockers Diamond Reo, "Live at the Redeye '78," in "The Professor's CD Corner" as this week's "Local Music Flashback!" Hear the "Homegrown Rocker" this Sunday night (April 17) on Q94 Classic Rock - 94.3 FM and online at www.q94classicrock.com!
