Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the January 1 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), and from 10 PM to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm)!

As we crossed the threshold into the New Year 2023, the "Homegrown Rocker" took one last look back over the year just completed during the "2022 Year in Review Special!" Starting with January, we looked back over 2022 through the lens of the local and regional music scene - recapping the band formations and breakups, personnel moves, album releases, noteworthy shows and events, and anything else that helped define the area music scene during the past year. And keeping with tradition, we again launched our "Year in Review Special" with the Mark Allen Project's rowdy ode to New Year's Eve debauchery. Along the way, we also debuted a new song from Alyssa Hankey. (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94's website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on "The Professor's Classroom," and then scroll down to "Homegrown Rocker Podcast" and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 122522.)
