Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the February 12 edition of "The Homegrown Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), and from 10 PM to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm)!

We knew we were up against a major sporting event this night. While Kansas City defeated Philadelphia in the XVIIth edition of this sporting event, the "Homegrown Rocker" spotlighted brand new recordings that have arrived in recent weeks, and let the local and regional music scene shine and provide an alternative for anyone not interested in the game or irritated by the halftime show of said game. We debuted lots of new music, including tunes from Barbara Blue, Curt Biesecker, The Jeremy Edge Project, Matt Otis & the Sound, Bill Dann & Jack Servello, Lone Crow Rebellion, The Mile Hill Band, Anne Kachline & Town Cryer, Infused, Pieces Of Reason and Jakob Vladimir! We also updated "Local Music News," pulled out a 1996 number from Clearfield County rockers Rude Dawg for a "Local Music Flashback," stepped "Across State Lines" to check out a song from Manchester, New Hampshire heavy rockers Dust Prophet, and reviewed Keith Randall's Aspire album in "The Professor's CD Corner!" And with Valentine's Day just a couple of days away, we aired Roadkill's cautionary musical public service announcement about the dangers of Valentine's Day. (For those who missed the program, a four-part podcast of this show is available for listening or download from Q94's website, www.q94classicrock.com. Click on "The Professor's Classroom," and then scroll down to "Homegrown Rocker Podcast" and look for the four show segments marked with the date, 021223.)

In Local Music News...
