Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the May 18 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Thanks to the Lost Ledny contingent for traveling over the mountain from Johnstown to shed some light on their music, live show, and other things Ledny. Listeners even learned the meaning of the name Lost Ledny (something about paintings, if I heard bassist Ryan correctly). We heard numerous tracks from Lost Ledny's self-titled debut CD. We also debuted new songs from The Flame Sky, Stargun Holloway and Divided Sky.

This week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

THE FLAME SKY - "Only In Your Head"
SKELL - "Cellophane"
LOST LEDNY - "Lost/Past Confusion"
THE GRIMM - "Raise The Line"
LOST LEDNY - "Ponder"
NO COMPLAINT - "Holding Back"
LOST LEDNY - "Deceit"
STARGUN HOLLOWAY - "Rubberman"
DIVIDED SKY - "Lifestream"
AXUM - "Abuse The Unhealthy"

HOUR TWO:

POKER FACE - "I Can See It In Your Eyes"
LOST LEDNY - "Disown"
LOST LEDNY - "The Answer"
ADRIAN BLITZER - "Nobody's Home"
LOST LEDNY - "Pointless/Here After"
LOST LEDNY - "Farewell"

This Sunday night, May 25, it's the "Backyard Rocker" annual Memorial Day Special. We will reflect back on local and regional bands that came and went on the area music scene, plus commemorate the area musicians we have lost along the way. As always, we again welcome any archive recordings or footage of area bands for the show. If you have a tape, album, 45 rpm single, or any other recording of a former area band or artist you would like to have on the program, feel free to drop it off at the Q94 offices during business hours, or contact me at (814) 944-9420, toll free 1-877-947-6257, or email me at profjp@wbxq.com. A special 3-hour edition, the "Backyard Rocker" Memorial Day Special starts at 7 PM this Sunday night!
