Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the May 28 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

For the Memorial Day weekend edition of the “Backyard Rocker,” we stuck to tradition with the annual Memorial Day Special, as we dug into the local music vaults and archives to dig out tunes from area music past! We heard from a wide selection of area bands and artists who graced regional stages from the 70’s through 90’s. Some of the tapes were buried so deep in the vault, they literally had mildew accumulated on them! We broke out a few local music rarities along the way; including a never-before heard recording of The Front during a practice session at the 4D’s Lounge in 1991, a living room tape of Huntingdon County rockers Strychnine, and an alternate take of Black Angel’s title song, with John Stevens singing lead! Following tradition, we devoted the show’s third hour in memory of area musicians we have lost along the way, featuring some of the music they left us with. It was maximum local music memories once again on the three-hour annual Memorial Day Special!

Here is this week’s playlist:

HOUR ONE:
