Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the February 25 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7.

Last weekend, the music industry converged on the Harrisburg area for the 11th annual Millennium Music Conference (www.mmc11.com), which took place over the course of three days and four nights at the Radisson Penn Harris Conference Center in Camp Hill. Q94's "Backyard Rocker" made the roadtrip and was in attendance, capturing audio footage from the conference and trade show, and bearing witness to some of the over 200 bands and artists - some from as far away as England, Japan and Tunisia - who showcased during Millennium weekend. This week, we recapped the events of last weekend, featuring interviews and excerpts from some of the conference happenings. And we featured music from several of the bands and artists who were onstage during Millennium weekend. It was an interesting conference; and an interesting show!

Here is this week's playlist:

HOUR ONE:

MILKSHAKE JONES - "Glow"
HOLIS - "Song of the Sage"
GOAT - "Two Sides to Love"
(Interview - Sherri Mullen)
SHERRI MULLEN - "Now You'll Hurt"
(Interview - Rachel Rocks)
THE ELEVATOR BAND - "Days of Our Lives"
LEDBETTER HEIGHTS - "Thru N Thru"
KEATON SIMONS - "Nobody Knows"
THE APRIL SKIES - "X"
STONE SOUL FOUNDATION - "Heavy Hand"
THE ILLUMINATI - "Picture"

HOUR TWO:

CODORUS CRUISE LINE - "Train Station"
(Excerpts from Walter McDonough keynote address)
SUNSPOT - "Scott Bakula"
NEGATIVE SPACE - "Holiday"
(Interview - Crazy John Kerecz)
NABIL KHEMIR - "I Will Never Give Up"
RICHARD THORNE - "Damned If I Do, Damned If I Don't"
A UTOPIAN SKYLINE - "One Angel Said to Another"
DISINGAGED - "Waiting"
EDWIN TICHENOR - "Altoonia"

Next Sunday night, Q94's "Backyard Rocker" celebrates another birthday! On the first Sunday of March, 1998, the program first took to the airwaves on Q94, and thus we mark our ninth anniversary this coming Sunday night with a three-hour on-air party beginning at a special start time, 7 PM. And as area favorites Felix & the Hurricanes were the first musical guests to appear and perform live on the program, it has become "Backyard Rocker" tradition that the Hurricanes make their annual appearance on the show during our anniversary special! So as we celebrate highlights from the past year on the "Backyard Rocker," we'll also celebrate the Hurricanes, and get caught up on the latest 'Canes happenings. And Felix, Bob and Jeff usually have a few surprises lined up for us every year; so don't be surprised to hear live performances, special guests and more! Felix & the Hurricanes help the "Backyard Rocker" celebrate its ninth birthday, next Sunday night at 7!

Forthcoming guests and specials include:
