Barry just hooked me up with an awesome repair job. Actually, a buddy of mine needed his Dimebag Wah fixed and I offered to take to Barry. My buddy says it sounds like the day he bought it, 6 years ago. When you factor in playing in bars almost every other weekend, that's a lot of abuse for a wah to withstand. I've heard it and it does sound AMAZING compared to where it was the week before.

Just wanted to let everybody know go to Barry for repairs. I'll vouch for his work. For a local alternative to shipping your pedal or guitar back to a manufacturer or dealer, you absolutely can't beat his work.

And thanks for the pedal, Barry. I'll be back around with more money for more toys.

Steve

colton,
theres actually no pickup covers on those, couldnt get the right size to line up....so its just straight pickups ha. its a lil noisy but oh well. heres a link to some on ebay, i dont know if they are right?

barry might be able to find covers for ya, i was in a hurry to get the guitar back and didnt bother a lot of searchin for the pick up covers. and i know he has a delay pedal.

Here is the Bardel Pedal that I picked up yesterday. Barry has been working on this thing for a couple weeks and now it is in my hands.

It is a 3 channel pedal featuring:
1) Overdrive - The first channel is an overdrive. I use it is as a medium/low gain overdrive. It is similar Wink to the mad professor honey bee sound.
2) Fuzz - The fuzz is a classic sounding fuzz with Barry's signature tonal touches on it.
3) Stage 3 - The stage 3 is well..... a stage 3. It can be used by itself of in combination with one of the two channels. I used it for the first time last night and it is very nice on the clean sound as well. It allows you to cut through the mix while playing clean.

I hope to have a full review on youtube in the near future. I need to work with the pedal for a while first. I really only played with the stage 3 so far.

I am so glad you are enjoying it! I am working on an 80's version right now.
Here is another pic which better shows of the Sparkle Paint Job.
Let me know what you think people.

Here is my Youtube Demo for my new Bardel Pedals - Super Drive 70's
The demo was recorded with just a basic Camcorder so there are some audio artifacts due to the limitations of the device (please excuse). There are no enhancements or compressors or anything else period! Nothing fancy here folks so just Crank and enjoy!

Youtube Demo Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mS9A9w922zE

Thanks as always!!

Barry

Thanks B. The Custom Shop Texas Specials sound Awesome.

I'll be checking in with you later on the Super Drive - 70.

The Stage 3 rocked but if I'm gonna get one I think I want the Fuzz and Drive also since it is in that box.

Thanks for the free set-up action plays nice and low now.

Received my new Bardel Super Drive 70's pedal and it is totally awesome! The simplicity and tones are excellent. Not only does it produce that true 60's and 70's sound, but also, sounds just as good with today's sounds as well. Currently, playing thru a Marshall Head, using only the clean channel and a Gibson SG, it's totally amazing. The best part is, I haven't even began to discover all the tones this pedal can produce, I was totally satisfied with it right out of the box. Anyone who wants to dramatically improve their sound, should definetly check this pedal out. It very well may be the last pedal they ever need. Excellent job and super Service. Thanks Barry Terry Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Thanks so much for the wonderful praise!

It absolutely makes it all worth while when I hear someone thoroughly enjoying one of my pedals!

I am looking forward to building you that Custom "all in one" Modulation pedal we have been discussing!

I am still working on my Super Drive 80's version but I am closing in on it! Soon!!

Also I just completed my Bardel Bass Driver and it kicks ass! Very Happy
This is not a Sans Amp folks! I am just waiting for my buddy Bill to come over and give it the final thumbs up but this is exactly what I was aiming for!

Super Drive 70's. at eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380183990196&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

Although if you wish to buy one just PM me and I will pass the savings of buying it direct instead on to you! Which is a $20 bill BTW!

Thanks so much as always!

Barry

Once again, Barry comes through on another repair for me. Fixed my 1994 version 7a, I believe (the green one), Big Muff. It was making an aweful sound, now it's good to go. Also had Barry install a power jack. All this in hopes of getting back out there in a band soon(hint, hint).

While I was picking it up, we talked about the possibility of a Bass Stage 3 Booster and his Bass Driver in one housing akin to the Super Drive 70's he did.

By the way, I don't think the pics of his pedals do them justice. They look and sound that good.

I am glad to be of service to you. I fix pedals all the time and love to do it.
I look forward to fitting you with one of my Stage 3 Booster and Bass Driver combos!

I hooked up with my first Bardel pedal this weekend. It's a one-off of a version of the Z Vex Ooh Wah. It's a little different than the Ooh Wah in that the individual wah sounds that the Ooh Wah can run together into one sound when they're all set the same while the Z Vex pedal really isolates the individual knobs. This actually opens up some possibilities since I do tend to use some of my pedals simply for wreaking sonic havoc. I'm going to experiment more with this one, but I am currently planning on running it in the effects loop of a modulated delay pedal that I had another friend build me. hahaha...

Now I'm just waiting on my next Bardel pedal to fill my fuzz needs.

Cool

Just got my third Bardel 3days ago ,and I got to say I'm impressed.True by-pass top of the line hand wird, hand etched board, the list goes on and on.The best part is it makes any Clean amp I have sound like a snarling sustain laden Monster.
And Barry COMPLETELY Stands by his work, with a warrenty against problems.
If you need any type of pedal ,see Barry First!
Tell him Ronny from Half Tempted sent you.Or come over to my place and I'll demo one for you.
