I'm sad to hear about Peppi Marchello. I met him a few years ago when the Good Rats played a freebie concert in Greensburg. He looked shocked when I brought a vinyl copy of the Good Rats' From Rats to Riches album up to him after the show to get autographed.

Every summer, the Good Rats do a special weekend event called "Ratstock," sort of a camping/music festival with them headlining. They used to do it in northeastern PA, and I almost attended it a few years ago following that Greensburg concert. Now I wish I had attended.

I can't explain how much this company has revolutionized the sound industry. Take a drive through Lititz, PA and see how they have influenced the entire town as well.
