"This is even weirder than J. Geils suing the J. Geils Band for touring as the J. Geils Band without J. Geils in it." I think "Peter and the Wolf" was already a registered trademark haha As for Queensryche, Chris DeGarmo leaving was a major blow in the first place, but at least T...

Playing the shit gigs, in order to fund the big/fun gigs, seemed to make it worth it for me. I am no longer with a band, but the group I was with up until recently found a way to become successful through hard work, hard gigging, and 0 help from any record company. Personally I feel if you depend on...

Thank you guys for the kind words. It was a more abrupt ending.than we anticipated but it is what it is. We gave it all we had and we can hold our heads high. As far as a certain someone slamming us, if it is who I think it is, none of us know, her, ever crossed paths with her and she never saw us o...

Gay, Straight, Black, White, Christian, Jewish, Native American, Islamic, doesnt matter to me. If you can sing/play and are a good friend/bandmate, you will never have a problem with me. I doubt Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon even cared about Freddie's sexual orientation once they heard hi...

Maybe all the bands that have been accused of rigging the Top 10 counter are all avid fans of H.G. Wells??

WTB Ibanez Tube Screamer

just wondering if anyone had a used one they were selling? I live on a steady diet of Ramen Noodles and Sheetz hot dogs so $100 for a brand new one is a little out of my range at the moment. Or if anyone has any advice on a comparable pedal to boost for soloing?

Though alot of people probably don't realize J. Geils was not the front man or lead singer for the J. Geils Band, I can definitely see his point.

I wouldn't go see The Dave Matthews Band if Dave Matthews was in fact not there haha

Always was a huge fan of Tom Petty's "You Don't Know How it Feels" It's not an earth shattering harmonica lick. But it's catchy and accents the song nicely. The band Blessid Union of Souls always made good use of the harmonica in many of their songs as well.

Played at a little hole in the wall, out in the middle of nowhere a few months back. We are a primarily original band but do about 35% of our set as covers. Kind of expected no one but the local drunks to be there. Turned out it was wall to wall people with a majority of the crowd being our age (mid...

I have an acoustic Mandolin. I used to have a pickup for it but I do not anymore. I really only ever played it at a show maybe twice. It has just been sitting in my bedroom for the last couple years. I can send you pics if you are interested?

Sadly, the Hall of Fame has become about as pointless as the Grammy's. I was having a discussion with my buddy the other night about if everyone was in charge of choosing the inductees there would be artists that deserve to be there and there would be artists who don't but they are personal favorite...

Thank you for the insight! I saw they use tube, and they looked as though they have independant eq channels, which is exactly what I was looking for. I wasnt sure if they were like a Blackstar situation where they were modeled after Marshall. Awesome review though Gallow!
