My entire system puts out somewhere in the neighborhood of 2500 watts. No, I did not forget a zero. :) I own a relatively low powered system, and it is mmore than enough for most small to medium clubs. Just last week, we were hired by a local restaurant to play outdoors for them. This is the system ...

I had a hell of a time figuring out how to properly set uo the voluume and wah. I don't understand why they didn't just set those two up as defaults? Also, I still haven't figured how to completely build a patch manually. I've used the HD edit on the computer. I've pretty well gotten that figured ou...

I've been using line 6 gear since 2002, and I've owned literally every single floor pod theyve made. If you are looking for the most bang for your buck, get the POD HD 300 at $329. I currently use the hd 500, and absolutely love it. IMO, the fpp kinda sounds like poo no matter how well it is tweaked...

Foreign Exchange Bands
Been a very long time since I've posted, and my band LADY INVIDIA is looking to broaden our horizons. We're a well established, very popular, top drawing band here in the Cummberland, MD area. However, I am under the assumption you 'Toon town folk have no clue who we are.... and I aim to fix that. W...

Xenyx 2442fx - This piece has been my main mixer for 3 years. Scratch that, it's been my only mixer. I love it!!!! Pre's are dead quiet and have pretty decent headroom. I use this to mix my own band, and for side jobs I pick up mixing for other bands. My only gripes are that I wish they made a mixer...

My drummer and I have this argument all the time! You WoW/DnD losers! (Yes, it's the same damn thing) My Sith lord could totally kick your paladin's ass.... Yea, Chris is really into WoW and we ride his ass for it. But he gets right back at me for being a Star Wars geek. But we both like titties and...

Deb, there's also the option of not using monitors! I'm not being a smartass, I am a recent convert to In-Ear monitors. Carvin makes an all metal system for $350, which is a hell of a sight cheaper than Shure. I LOVE THEM. I'll never go back to wedges. Additionally, now my band requires no wedges, P...

Isn't 22.4k beyond the range of ANYONE's hearing? I'm 29. Been doing this for 15 years. I still heard the 21.1k. And joe, yes, you can def. have a dominant ear. I've always stood to the left side of the stage facing the crowd (never understood Stage Left/Stage Right), and I've had crash cymbal in my...

My pod has a 1/4 trs HP out, and L+R mono 1/4 outs. Most of the time, the mixer is onstage with me. I'll run the HP to my stereo power amp(for my guitar rig) with a trs trs cable, and run the l+r outs to the 1/4 stereo ins on the mixer. This instance, we played with another band and I didn't want to...

trs to xlr
I bought a trs to xlr cable to hook up my POD XT's headphone jack directly to the snake. It works, however whenever I turn on my chorus or delay it triples in volume. This cable is transformerless. Any ideas?
