I remember Glenn from the Billy Price era and I was knocked out then. Finally got to meet him a few years ago at Thunder in the Valley. He was so cool, just a very sweet guy. My heartfelt sympathy to his family, band mates, and friends.

I know, I know....way too long to decide, etc. I had to wait for the right time in the store's financial cycle (yeah, it gets moody and everything), but we did pick up Hartke. Thanks for all your help!!

I met Mr. Fullerton, and Ted Carson, and Bill Schultz (the saviour of Fender). Just genuine folksy kinda guys one and all. They knew the history they had created but to them it was all in a day's work.

I've played at the convention center a few times. Pretty cool place but I always was a little confused why the powers that be thought it would attract major conventions in order to give the local economy an ocassional shot. We already had the Jaffa and Ramada. The BCCC really doesn't offer much more...

Harry played for the sheer joy and love of it. Always smiling, cracking a joke, or just talking gear and music. I only knew him a few years but he made me feel like I was one of his best friends the first time I met him. A sad day.

The best sounding room I've ever been to was the Philadelphia Academy of Music where I heard the Philadelphia Orchestra. I was in peanut heaven but the balance and quality of sound was incredible. Oh yeah, no mics, no nothing. Just over a hundred of the worlds' best playing Mahler and Ravel in a roo...

Harley, way back when. I think it was simply called Book and Record Shop. If you got past the books and records I think they also had stereo gear for sale. I also worked at Sound Concepts. A pretty cool store as I remember, especially because Pappy's Pizza was next door. Also, we had monster stereo ...

Best advice has come from the musicians I've played with along the way. Pearls of wisdom every one. Like "don't get out of the van tiill it stops dumbass" and " lose the girl, we gotta pack up". Really, the musicians. But one time a long time ago (age 18), I didn't know where I w...
