Just out officially. Austin Scott of PSU has been charged with rape after
incident last weekend. Looks like he has trouble holding to his balls both on and off the field. I believe you are innocent until proven guilty and I hope he is. The PSU football program needs to get their image back of being a clean program. The last several years have disgusted me! I don't just blame the coaches, the players have a responsibility to themselves, their families, teamates, the university, and the fans. When will this bullshit end?
This was a team that stated prior to the season that they were going to
make a run for the national championship this year! What happened?

I'd suggest we all save our judgments until he's had his day in court. How many of us hooked up with some girl at a bar, went back to her place, and... well, you know. All it would have taken was for her to wake up in the morning with some buyer's remorse and every one of us would have been in some deep shit till we had our day in court.
My own dad actually warned me about college girls and "buyer's remorse," and he never warned me about anything! I once accompanied and very amorous young coed to her apartment, where she decided the froo-froo drinks she's had were too much, and she passed out cold. I SPRINTED from that apartment. From a man's viewpoint, we don't actually have to do anything yucky... if the girl SAYS we did, our life is irreparably damaged simply by the accusation. Sorry if that's not PC, it's reality. In this case, where there were others in the apartment, and there was not a call for help, or to stop (the "stop" call is all your average non-rapist paramour needs to actually stop, contrary to popular feminist belief, most men are not sex offenders). However, if this guy did actually hurt the girl, then he needs to spend some quality time indoors for the next twenty years, no matter what his athletic talents are.----->JMS
I agree with ss...rape that the night before was consensual sex happens all the time. In fact, it just happened here on campus a month or 2 ago. Flyers with a picture of the 'rapist' up everywhere. Then the flyers mysteriously disappeared and it came out that she made it up. Call it buyers remorse or a call for attention, I don't know. Remember Duke LaCrosse players? The fact that this happens REALLY pisses me off and insults me as a woman, as much as the actual act of rape. God, it's taken decades for us to be taken seriously in court when rape does happen and these idiot women are moving us a step backward.

Exactly. The added problem is that many actual rape victims DON'T report it, for whatever reason. Maybe they don't want to get the a-hole in trouble, don't want to face him again, don't want the stigma of being victimized, don't want to face the anguish of a court appearance... there are so many reasons they don't when they should.
