Question about using rack..
Ok I don't know much about these so this is why I'm asking..
I have a BBE Maximizer that is rackmountable and I've been wanting to buy a rack to put it and my head in but my head isn't rackmountable. I was wondering if there I could just leave my head on the bottom space if it would be safe and then just put the maximizer on the higher mount and/or if there is a way to make my head rackmountable pretty easily? Any help would be great!

Its a Hartke HA2500.. its the same length as my actual maximizer (minus where the mounts are on the maximizer) so thats why i thought it would fit.. And I'd really like to somehow fit them all in one rack without having to keep em seperate.. And Nighthawk, where could I find the rack your talking about that holds a head and has the racks above.. that sounds like a solution! haha

You may be able to rack your head. Many of the Hartkes are really just rack-mountable units screwed into a case by default to make them function as a standard head (for example, this 5500 http://www.zzounds.com/item--HTK5500) . Check it out and see if that's the case (no pun intended).

It looks like it was made to be rack mounted. I emailed Hartke to see if there is a rack ear kit for it. If its exactly 3-1/2 inches high, chances are they have something. In the meantime, check to see if there are any screws on the sides near the front. If so, these can be used to mount rack ears.EyesOfAnguishbassist wrote:Its a Hartke HA2500
If they don't have a kit, you can get rack ears on ebay for a few bucks, but you may have to drill some holes in the ears or (gulp) in the sides of your amp. Here is one that might work:
