O.k I thought I would start a Over Rated | Under Rated thread. In this you just have to say what you think is over rated and then something that is under rated of the same genre.

It can be anything; Music, Tv or movies, Musical Instruments, cars, people, etc. . I'll start:

I think Cliff's a good player, but I don't think he deserves the "Jaco of Metal" status that people seem to bestow upon him. Again, I think that David Ellefson is every bit as good, but doesn't get the same recognition because he doesn't have the "Burton Mystique" and Megadeth didn't get the same mainstream popularity that Metallica did. His bass work in Take No Prisoners slams!
