With all the talk of Brett Favre returning....

I got to thinking about football. I assume we are doing the rockpage fantasy league again this year. Are you going to be the commissioner? I can set up the league if you want.

Sorry it took long...yeah... set it up. I was actually getting ready to ask until I scrolled down further. Still doing Live draft? If we're doing a live draft through the week can you make it like after 3:30P, it's about what time I get home (during the weekend, whenever). There's another guy that watches rockpage (don't know if he has a username or not) and is interested too. So PM me or something so I know what to tell him.

Basically with the live draft (whenever the league is set up), the commish can set a date and time. Everyone be online at that time, download the program (I think it's Java, but that may be ESPN's, not sure), and then you're on the clock. All the players are put up in order to which their '07 season would rank them (I think, but I'm not sure really how they're ranked). If you can't be there do a Pre-draft ranking list like usual and that would act in your behalf.

As for the plaque...my name would look good on it for the next few years...lol. That'd be cool though.

Damn it...I think I have a fantasy football problem. While waiting for the rockpage league, I had 4 teams on ESPN and 3 teams on Yahoo. And thanks to rreihart, I can now make it 4 teams on Yahoo, and hopefully stop there for the season. Well, I guess it's actually 6 drafted teams and 2 offline teams. So I only have to pay attention to 6 of my 8 teams more closely. At least it's better than 23 last year, but 8 still sucks.

Anyway, gettin off topic here. Thanks again rreihart, and good luck to the rest of you.

I hope it'll be a good battle for second, cause I'll be watching it all from the number 1 spot...hahaha. And the trash talk begins...

There seems to be some confusion.

Let me clear some things up.

When floodcity posted up the original (this) thread and I responded to set things up, I didn't have time to deal with things right then, and it wouldn't have mattered to me if someone else set things up.

Then, almost two weeks passed and nothing was done. I started to receive PM's from people asking me what was going on. So, I went ahead and got things rolling. I posted back to this thread (see above) all of the details for the league.

Floodcity, I am sorry if you didn't see that in the thread. Then you set up a league, essentially a second league and now nobody is joining it because they are already in the one I set up.

If enough people are interested in both, then so be it. I know not everyone, myself included, has enough time for more than a couple leagues. I am already in one with the people of my development and am not joining a second RP league.

I hope this helps clear things up.
