eat ANYTHING you wanted right NOW what would it be? And let me get these out of the way right now, Furburger and Tube Steak. Okay, I said them, now let's talk FOOD!
I could eat a filet mignion with a plate of scampi right now. Yep, it's close to lunch time.

A nice porterhouse cooked rare with some A-1, garlic and thyme potatoes, some corn, and a glass of wine. And a tumbler of 40-year old Scotch with a good $30 H. Upmann cigar (the Habanos SA version, if it weren't for that damn Cuban embargo) for dessert.
Dood...

The Fuji in J,town does have some tasty steak from the habachi. Hummm....their spicy tuna roll is very good too, if you dig sushi.

The best Prime Rib i ever had was at the Longbranch saloon in Oakland MD. With a big ole sweet potato, honey and brown sugar. Man i miss that place, haven't played there since their smoking ban.

A plate of hot wings! It doesn't sound like much, but I've been on a seafood-only diet for over a year. That's a long time with no hot wings.

It's hard to get a good plate of prime rib around here.
Jimi, why is you only eating seafood? I love me some crab and loobster and scrimpies but nothing BUT seafood? Wow, you are dedicated!

Usually, a plate of Pelly's original recipe hot wings...But I just had those last night.
Right now, I have a craving for a tin of sardines in Louisiana hot sauce, on saltine crackers. And a bottle of Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat to wash 'em down with...And the sardines and beer are stored downstairs; I think it's snacktime!

Is there any good Thai food around? I had some in LA last December and I miss it more than any other cuisine.

Trace, there are 2 places in State College, Cozy Thai and Viet-Thai. I don't know of any Thai restaurants in Blair or Cambria counties.
I always have to follow the entree with coconut ice cream.

I've seen Cozy Thai - it's on College, right? I did ride up on a Sunday once hoping to eat there, but it was closed. I'm usually only up there for gigs and I'm always running late
Gotta make time! Need some Pad Thai and Mee Krob! and Coconut ice cream!

Would you believe that's the first time someone's made that joke about my diet? Seriously.
There's no moral imperative behind the seafood diet, it's just supposed to be healthy. And you get a certain Zen thing by denying yourself that plate of hot wings.

I see we musicians have good taste in food! I'm definitely hungry for the spicy tuna roll at Fuji. I may have to grab some for dinner tonite.
