I love albums
I love albums! I mean real albums, the vinyl kind. I am listening to a lot of the new music that is coming out on vinyl and it does not stack up well to the older stuff, late 60's, 70's, 80's stuff.
Anyone else notice this?
Joe what is your favorite vinyl? Do you still have vinyl and if so what equipment are you playing it on...
There you go I hijacked the crap out of this thread...

I used to listen to "Thick as a Brick" over and over. I have a new DVD (couple years old) of Tull. Ian was making fun of the fact that "...Brick" is so long. He says,"We're just doing nine minutes tonight, that's long enough".witchhunt wrote:I still have my Technics turntable. Listened to THICK AS A BRICK the other day.

Ditto on the turntable. Does you TAAB cover have the St. Cleve Chronicle newspaper insert? If so, did you connect the dots to see what ducky was checking out? Try the crossword puzzle?metalchurch wrote:I use a Technics turntable. I also have Thick as a Brick on vinyl.
No kidding
...Oh, the freedom of the day that yielded to no rule or time...
LOL!!
I used to have a vinyl collection, about 350 records consisting of everything from Aldo Nova to Led Zeppelin. When my wife and I got married and were in the moving transition, my old landlord changed the locks on our house because I refused to pay the last months rent. Why did I do that? because I transformed his Pet srink ridden piss palace into a liveable home and I gave him copies of all the reciepts, but he still screwed me. Paybacks are a bitch. he also has my old computer and some comics......I'll get 'em.
