The official Who Would Win in a Fight Thread of Rockpage
This was originally a thread of questionable subject matter, and in order to keep the sqeaky clean image of Rockpage, I've changed this to the official Vs. thread of Rockpage.
Okay...
Eminem vs. Vanilla Ice
Okay...

Is this a fist fight or a rap-off?

Did you ever see that movie 8 Mile where it said that living in a trailer park can kill you quickly.

Ice Vs. Eminem...guess it depends on if Suge Knight is involved somehow.I have a question wrote: Do you think you should put a disclaimer on your post?

Good thing...some observations for you (and I'm straying from my question format:) 1: You & Vanilla Ice have a ptche quality that brings tears to my eyes 2: I'm going to bring my glasses, and my shoes, too.

Yeah, I've been meaning to change my avatar. I found that avatar on a worst album covers webpage when I got the picture for the "Braillettes Gig" thread. The fact that someone thought a Les Paul neck coming out of a dude's pants all phallic-like was a good idea for an album cover was too campy for me to pass up as an avatar.I have a question wrote: 1: You & Metalchurch have avatars that are too similar...

Geddy Lee is actually a superhuman posing as a regular human...he's kind of like Superman, you can't actually damage him except by pieces of his destroyed homeworld...ToonaRockGuy wrote:Okay, Paul, here's one since you're a bassist...
Geddy Lee (Rush) versus Chris Squire (Yes).
I know that was a question for Paul...but can you tell I'm a Rush fan?

Ah yes, but therein lies the rub...Chris Squire is just as good if not better than Geddy. So who wins?mistikalvalkrie wrote:Geddy Lee is actually a superhuman posing as a regular human...he's kind of like Superman, you can't actually damage him except by pieces of his destroyed homeworld...ToonaRockGuy wrote:Okay, Paul, here's one since you're a bassist...

Dood...
I seem to recall a confrontation in the early 80's between Geddy and David Lee Roth. The way I remember it, Geddy finished it with one punch, and Rockzo the Clown lied about it in the press for a month. I'd give cash money to see Geddy throwing some whoopass on somebody. You just wouldn't expect it.

Rockzo the clown is an arrogant dude who got too big for his spandex really fast.
I love how Metalocalypse makes Rockzo the Clown so obviously David Lee Roth! His speaking voice is different, but when he sings, it's a dead-on impression of DLR. "I do cocaine!"
Don't get me wrong, though. I really liked DLR-era Van Halen... at least the first 3 albums... then it got too big and mainstream.--->JMS
