Yeah, I was 5 and being forced to listen to Led Zepplin, and All the crap that wanted to be Led Zepplin. My dad called THe Misfits "that new Shitty Metal" like a year ago. I about died laughing. Then he said "Whitesnake were good til they sold-out." WTF??? Haha. Weird dude, my dad.

Whitesnake started in the late seventies, with the sound of that era. Then evolved more into an eighties rock band as they went. If your Dad's into the Zep rock of the 70's, maybe that's what he meant. But its still a funny statement, by itself.

Love that Social D video. I never knew they went back that far. My first exposure to them, was when I saw the video for "Ball and Chain" back in 1990. I remember buying the cassette just a few days after I graduated.
