THE CHRISTMAS MUSIC ON THE RADIO!! wtf.... I know its the Christmas season, but holy shit man I come home for 2 days from school and every time I turn it on all i heard is ripping guitar saying merry christmas/new year. And its only the "wonderful" city of Altoona doing this. And I know guys if I dont like it listen to 103.1 or a cd. Maybe xm?

its not only altoona, its the whole country. Christmas music sucks because its completely played out in 45 minutes because its the only thing you hear. Its on every radio station, in every store, people use it for bumper music. Its fucking rediculous
Stand back, I like to rock out.

They invented this neat thing called a Cd and maybe your house or car has a Cd player, and some of these Cd's do not have Christmas music.

Happy Christmas to you and your families. Tra la la la la la....

I'm generally not much for Christmas music, but here's one of the finest tenors on the planet singing "O Holy Night" with a fantastic pianist, string section, full band, and a 50+ person choir (made up of traveling veteran vocalists, many with 50+ years on the road).

Sirius/XM has several channels of Christmas music, including music for the Jewish oriented holiday (I can't spell it).

I lasted all of five minutes for me...GOODBYE!! Much to the scorn of the Mrs., of course.

Don't worry, you only have to bear it until the end of next Thursday, and at the stroke of midnight when Dec. 26 begins, radio and media will toss all the Christmas music and programming into the attic until next year. Funny how it all disappears just like that...

I'm contributing to the glut of Yuletide music on the airwaves this Sunday night, with the "Homegrown Rocker" Christmas Special from 9 to 11 on Rocky, with two hours of local Christmas tunes, plus Clearfield County Christmas songsmiths Lords A Leaping debuting their new Volume III CD on the show. Shameless plug, and I will be cranking up the tunes and the eggnog!

LMMFAO! That's what I was thinking. And I thought I was a Scrooge this year ...

Generally, but not so much this year, Xmas music makes me happy. I guess it's the kid inside me. I usually start whistling Xmas songs in August and stop around March.

Love the Weird all song, and Porky Pig's Blue Christmas. The only time christmas music bugged me, was when I worked at Wissisnger's. I think they had two twelve hour tapes on a loop. When your stuck listening to it, and nothing else, that can be truly annoying. I feel for those working retail this time of year. Poor bastards.

Yeah, I was cruising down the road and this rock anthem Christmas song comes on the radio. Didn't like it much.

I pressed a button and what do you know? A different station came on playing a song that I like. Who could imagine?
