GNX 2 Power Problem
On my Digitech GNX2, the power input must be kinda fucked up somehow, the damn thing will get bumped and shut off. If you wiggle the cable its alright for a while, and if you duct tape it, it works fine till some drunk chick walks up to where youre playing and kicks it while dancing.
I'm guessing something is just loose. Is there anyone who can solder PC chips well enough? If you pop this thing apart, its basically two computer chips and a bunch of empty space.
I'd really like to get this done before the weekend, so please lemme know if you know someone!

Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.

Lol. This cable has been wired back together at that stupid box in the middle I think twice now.
Its quite possible its the cable, but if youre messin with the input, it really feels like its the jack itself. I'll try to find a replacement cable and see how it goes

My dad had an '87 GNX and it would run 11.80's all day long. The only mods were 80/20 front shocks, 4.33 lockers, and M/T 8" slicks.KyleMayket wrote:the Buick GNX is a kick ass car, gotta love the Darth Vader!JackANSI wrote:I can patch it up if still needed....

They were indeed badass cars for being a 3.8L V6...
My family are diehard Ford guys, and that is one of the very few GM products that were allowed in the driveway

Sounds like your powersupply can be fixed. I had that same problem with an old Digitech RP-10 effects processor

Well, im not real sure what the problem is now. I used it all sunday night with the hurricanes, people bumped it, i smashed buttons, pushed it around a bit with my foot, cable got caught on it and dragged it a little bit, and it never shut off once.
Thank god for that one, I didnt have any time at all to get anyone to look at it before then.
