Who makes a good, long lasting adhesive, label machine?
Gotta be cheapish though.. which I know doesn't go hand-in-hand with quality.

Somebody has to know something about a labeler..
I know how to get more out of you guys!
Obama told me I should leave everything unlabeled; that it makes me cooler to just guess. Since he is wrong.. constantly.. I need help to find something to label all the wires and jacks on my gear.
This is your chance to prove Obama wrong!!

I always used a P-touch. I have one I got at Walmart or someplace like that works okay... for wires, you add length to the label, and make it wrap around onto itself. It's cheap, and doable. When I worked for a sound company we used a P-touch, too, but it was several hundred dollars. Mine was $20 at the most.--->JMS
I've always used Brady label makers. Some of the companies I've been with used Bradys that were about 7 years old at the time. They worked.....sometimes. Another company had newer ones that worked great. Easy to use, tons of font and orientation options, and label material options. The vinyl labels were best for wiring, but cloth labels were needed for some high-temp applications.
However, buying a Brady label maker for personal use probably isn't worth it. I don't know exactly what they cost, but they are NOT cheap.
The only other label experience I have is with those generic old-school label makers that would imprint a letter or number into a strip of blue, red, green, etc. plastic type material. It seems like no matter what you stuck them on, they would peel off in a week!
