A very GRIMM Birthday

Post by grimmbass »

Hey all! Consider this post to be an open invitation to all of our Rockpage friends to join my twin brother Otto and I at the Knickerbocker this Sat, March 21, to celebrate our birthday (Mar 22). I can think of no better way to celebrate my 36th year on the planet with my best friend (and twin) than to drink expensive beer with my musical friends!

We'll probably get there between 5 and 6 p.m.....something tells me you'll have no trouble finding us (look for the two loudest, fuzziest, ugliest guys in the room who are arguing about King Crimson albums). Hope you'll stop and toss a brew back with us!

Kent, I wont be able to make it out because my weekends are shot for the next month or so, but I'd like to extend an early Happy Birthday to you and your brother. 8)
I hope you guys have a fun and safe night. 8)
King Crimson is some good stuff by the way.

36 isn't bad at all, I would have guessed 32 or 33 at the most.

Thanks so much for all the well-wishes! I do hope some of you will stop and have a drink with us!

Joe: My favorite Crimson changes from time to time, but I'm a bit partial to "Discipline" and "Beat." Yep, I'm one of them 80's prog guys! I don't really have an opinion on Uriah Heap other than to say that I like the tune we cover in the British Invasion ("Stealin'").

Come drink with us!

Prior commitments (mainly the McIntyre Inn) will prevent me and the rest of the Rapid Fire crew from attending, so I'll just wish both of you Happy Birthday in advance.
