April PA Musician now available

Post by Jim Price »

The new April issue of Pennsylvania Musician, with Rockpage's own "facingwest" and "redawg" on the cover, is now available. Altoona, State College and Bedford locations already have it; Cambria and Clearfield County locations will get theirs on Saturday.

And yes, Bedford Rockpagers, Pennsylvania Musician is officially back in your town. You can now pick them up at Moez' Art Music, Don's Music Exchange, The Hillcrest Hotel and Heartland Hall.

I was flippin through the channels and caught a little of the Brett Michaels story on VH1. It had pics of him and his PA. band Paris from the Pa Musician and had a pic of the magazine cover too.

National press, wow. I wonder if old copies with write ups of Paris with Brett Michaels are collectors items now?

I'll bet JP has a few put away for a rainy day.

No, unfortunately, that one hit the streets before I started writing for them. I bet Robin the editor has a few stashed away at the magazine's farmhouse headquarters...

What are some other bands that went on to fame and fortune after gracing PA musicians pages? I know of a few that got Major Label Deals and "National" status.

Congrats to the Busted Drunks (Tele525 and Ferraro from rockpage) for their first little snip in the PA Musician.

Bob, that signature kills me
Laugh if you want to, really is kinda funny, 'cause the world is a car and you're the crash test dummy.
