I've never put mine away!!!
Just rolled 107,000 original mile on a 1994 1200 sporty that has been customized to a 50's bobboer look.

I'll be out. Catch me if you can!

Put 105miles on my freshly converted sportster today. Just had my cylinders bored and put 1200cc 10:1 dished pistons in and upgraded the cams. Never did any motor work before so I was relived to hear it roar on the first try. Only bitch is I gotta baby it and keep it under 3200 RPMs for 500 miles
Don't bitch to me about the economy while you're still buying Chinese products.

That looks a lot more like a Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500.

It is a 6. But they call it a "Flat 6."

300 miles on the fresh engine only 200 to go till I can let it rip.
Here's some pics new for 09 : 1200 conversion, fresh paint on the tins, engine blacked out, new ( smaller than before ) mini apes.

The best 750 class cruiser is the Kawasaki 750 Vulcan, but they stopped making them a few years back. The Kaw Vulcan 800 and the Suzuki Intruder or Boulevard 800 are good choices too, but don't have anywhere near the performance of the Vulcan 750 motor which is a modified Ninja V-Twin. At 35HP, don't even look at the Yamaha V-Star 650 unless you need a tractor.
You might want to keep in mind that a big insurance discount goes away when you reach 751ccs.
If you can find a used Vulcan 750 in good shape at a Kaw dealer, you won't regret it.

Honda Shadows are nice bikes. But just a warning, if you buy a 750, next year you'll want the 1100.
I'd look at Honda VTX's too. I like them alot.

Yeah, them too, although the Shadows have less than 50HP
