Blockbuster Movies Check em out

Post by rickster »

There are some pretty kool movies lined up for the next few months:

-Xmen origins

-Angels and Demons: ( the Davinci code sequel)

-TRansformers: revenge of the Fallen

-Terminator Salvation

-Night at the Museum:Battle of the Smithsonian

-Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

-Star Trek

-Land of the Lost ( Featuring Will Farrell) :D

I'll be checking out that last one for sure.

I dont have any desire to see any of these movies except 'Angels & Demons'. Its not really the sequel to the da vinci code. the 'Angels & Demons' book came out before the da vinci code. so i guess that would make the da vinci code the sequel. its weird that they released the movies out of order. prob to do with that whole 'da vinci code social explosion'.
Either way, ' A & D' was a much better book in my opinion.

The rest of the movies seem to be toy movies...which really arent anything im interested in. Im sure all those movies will make lots of $$$ though. People love that stuff.

I'll be hopefully seeing T4 twice in theaters.. depending on how good it is, I may see it at the drive-in too..

Transformers 2.. I want to see also..

The rest.. not so much.

can't wait for the next harry potter movie. call me a dork, call me a nerd, whatever. i read all the books, so it kinda makes sense to watch the movies.

and yea, angels and demons. can't wait. read the book. it was awsome. i hope they do it as well as they did davinci code.

x-men origins. i'm not a real x-men fan, but origins: wolverine looks awsome.

yea, g.i.joe is slated to come out this year. sweet. i loved g.i.joe when i was a kid. i hope it's done better than transformers was.

The Wolverine movie is kick-ass!!! Even if you're not a fan you can follow it, and it's mindless violence...damn right!!

I totally agree that Angels and Demons is much better than the DaVinci Code (at least the book anyway). It was a real page turner. There is one stupid part at the end where he jumps out of a plane/helicopter with a tarp or something and survives. I can't remember all the details because I read it about 5 years ago, but that struck me as a dumb ending to a FANTASTIC book.

Remember his part in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?" Marshal Wilenholly, get it? Marshall, Will and Holly!! AWESOME!!! I loved that show back in the 70's. Sid and Marty Croft. Anyone remember the old Shazam Live Action show from back then?

Anyway, I am looking forward to ALOT of blockbusters this summer.

I heard from a real comic buff that Wolverine sucked. I'll watch it when the vid comes out. Will Ferrel sucks extremely bad.
