Discrimination or legitimate business justification?
"He's the electric horseman, you better back off!" - old sKool making a reference to the culturally relevant 1979 film.
If your ass takes up two seats, you need to pay double. End of story. I feel bad for people who are that overweight, but not when it encroaches on others. You ever sat next to a morbidly obese person on a bus?!? It sucks!

maybe some of these skinny fuckers need to spend the extra dough for first class if they don't wanna be squished into coach. or maybe the fat asses should all buy first class tickets so the plane is front heavy. is it discrimination? no. is it unfortunate that americans are lazy fat fats that take up more than there share of seating in an airplane? yea... it's pretty unfortunate. should these skinny bastards be bitching and moaning? no! you want more room? buy a first class ticket and shut your fucking mouth.

Discrimination, as we define it in sociology, is "the denial of equal rights and opportunities to individuals or groups based on arbitrary reasons."
Race, gender, social class, sexual orientation, religion, etc. are arbitrary reasons to not allow someone to fly on a plane, join an organization, work for a company, etc.
Whether or not your ass fits into a space you are renting for a flight while not impinging on the rented space of the person next to you is NOT arbitrary. Each person has the right to the space they have paid for, no more, no less.
At 6'4". 270 lbs, I do not comfortably fit into an airplane seat, but I fit as best I can and I try to keep my legs, arms and shoulders to myself (as someone who wears a 52" coat, that's no small deal). Some people cannot do enough to stay within their space, but that doesn't give them the right to take away the space from others.
