Just got the Iron Maiden Flight 666 DVD. Very good tour. The Powerslave stage is awesome. A must for the Maiden fan.

I caught it on VH1 Classic. Great show, but I wonder how tired Bruce was from flying, then doing the shows. Hey Bill, does the DVD have any extras on it?

Yes, and I believe the Blu Ray, which hasn't been released yet, has even more.

I think Iron Maiden is as about as "evil" or "666" as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

They are sound musicians 4 sure ; but I cant even tolerate their music.

I don't agree that Maiden ever really tried to potray an image. The media was responsible for that. Flight 666 was the actual flight call for their plane, BTW. But I understand. A total lack of grunts and growls. They can't be any good.

What happened to Bruce, Eddie, and Paul?
Paul and Eddie had it good
But Paul loved his cocaine and Eddie hated punks
So after a couple years
Eddie broke it off with Paul to look for a new man

Paul got fucked, fucked by Steve
Eddie’s at the Red Lion looking for a new steed
Searching for a beau who sings in falsetto

What happened to Bruce, Eddie, and Paul?
What happened to Eddie, Paul, and Bruce?
Bruce and Samson knew
Eddie was looking for a long term, stable relationship
With Paul no longer around,
Bruce left Samson for Eddie cuz Steve convinced him to

Kudos to Paul, fuck you Bruce
How you supposed to rock ‘n’ roll without substance abuse
Number of the Beast is in bed with Rob and Judas Priest

Yea, Maiden is overly cheezy to me. That's why I could never get into them.

So I was finally prompted to check out some of youze guys websites and what do I see? Tortured souls, inverted crosses, "hoof and horn." But Maiden is cheesy. You guys make me laugh. Keep up the work of the evil.

come to a show. u might be suprised; I think u would dig it. U might not too; I respect that.

I know u are a horror movie fan and u could draw a lot of parallels to our tunes and song titles.

I argue constantly with my bandmates and closest friends about my Maidenphobia. Dont make it a personal attack on my band when u have never even given us a fair shot dude other than looking at our myspace page.
